Vestibular Training + Whole Body Movements ~ Functional Focus

80 minute Functional Focus class. Begin seated, meditation and then go through some eye exercises that strengthen our balance and vestibular system. Table top cat/cow, tiger balance and strength poses. Lunge series, anjaneyasana variations, twisting lunge. Specific work on how to rotate leg, hip and then pelvis for yoga poses like fire hydrant, 1/2 moon and 3 legged dog. Dog, squat into standing balance work. Warrior II with fascia bobbing, shoulder opening and vestibular gaze challenge. Lie down on mat, working a PNF quad lengthener and hamstring stretches. Savasana.
