Spine Lengthening, Symmetry Awareness & Shoulder Opening- Tune-up & Recover

75 minute Tune- up & Recover, low and slow class that reinforces improved posture.

Begin with a guided healing touch exercise followed by a R/L body rotation awareness exercise. We use a bolster cushion (or firm pillow), blocks and a belt to support unique floor poses that traction, twist and lengthen the whole body.

Proprioception is the awareness how we are positioned and moving in the space around us. This class offers an interesting way to improve this felt sense of our posture because the floor and props offer a lot of feedback that we don't get when we are standing mid-room.
