Psoas Release Series + Neck & Shoulders ~ Tune-up & Recover

75 minute Tune-up & Recover class.

We begin seated, meditate and then do through some warm ups for the shoulders and neck. Then into table top where we explore spinal flexion and extension as well as a gentle traction with a puppy pose variation.

Onto folding our mats in 1/2 so we can slide our foot along the floor. This leads us into a clinical somatic series meant to free up the full length of the iliopsoas. It might be useful to place your cushion up behind you for the arm to have a more restful landing pad. After that thorough series we circle the hips, windshield wiper twist and give the hamstrings a good stretch. Savasana with some set up options for the legs and spine.

Props: Belt, comfortable seat set up, cushion, maybe wear socks...you want to be able to slide your foot along the surface of your floor.
