60 minute Gentle Basics class begins with a lengthwise chest opener. Use some breathing and repeated words/numbers as a mantra to relax and become present. Warm ups and hamstring stretches. Table top cat cow, tiger stretch, dog, shoulder rolls and a Precision body move for accessing the mid thoracic spine (right where we tend to hunch). Anjaneyasana > twist > hip opener > dog, Cat/cow. Set up for seated sensation based meditation.
