80 minute Functional Focus class.
Seated meditation, nerve flossing for wrists and arms, side stretches. Into zig zag legs for core and leg warm ups and posture of expression flow. Feldenkrais move to keep us agile in getting up off the floor. Sitz bones "walking". Standing hip hinging squats with functional moves. Standing shoulder strengthener and shake the tree. Planks, lunges, anjaneyasana, twisting lunge, 1/2 splits, dog with specific shoulder stabilizers, back bend series for bone strength. Lie down for hamstring work and ab strengthening. Twist and knee circles. Savasana.
Props: Today we use blocks, blanket and comfortable seat.
