75 minute Functional Focus class. We begin win a deep seated squat on blocks with a mudra for shifting mood and letting go of worries and fears. This mudra entails breath retention. If there are any medical reasons that you should not hold the breath, please breathe normally throughout the mudra. Cat/cow, down dog, side puppy, Vasisthasana variation, dynamic shoulder moves. We have some fun with momentum and work with shoulder openers inspired by biomechanist Katy Bowman. Quick flow into 3 legged dog. Floor work- folding the 'X', full body roll option. Wiper twist, SI joint reset, circles. Heavy/Light guided technique into Savasana.
