Find Your Inner Spiral to Open Hips ~ Functional Focus

75 minute Functional Focus class.

We begin seated with the jetpack shoulder opener and a mudra for the back. Hip reset and up to standing. We use a belt to imprint inner spiral with the thighs. Chair pose, tree pose variation and a practice Warrior II set up with the belt. To the wall with a big loop belt for a balance/hip flexor strengthener, quad stretch. Table top cat/cow, hover core strengthener, down dog, plank, lunge > twisting lunge, sphinx, Warrior II > reverse Triangle > Side Angle pose. Dog with bent knee sweep throughs. Cool down cat/cow, parighasana.

Savasana.

Props: Blocks, belt, blanket, cushion (for seat) and wall for one pose
