Dynamic + Primal Sound & Movement + Prayerful Intention ~ Strengthen & Lengthen

60 minute Strengthen & Lengthen class. We begin standing at the wall or a corner point where 2 walls come together. Mountain pose with some breathing and stillness. Shoulder rotation and calf wake up at the wall. Then to our mats for a series of dynamic warm ups for the whole body. Squats and Warrior I swimming, adding some tribal sounds with our warm ups. Marching moves, samba and box step. With our blocks we go into a wide leg forward bend, practice our panther moves side to side, into standing poses, 3 legged dog and return to forward bend. Squat twist. Savasana/meditation with a request of the guided prayerful intention

Props: Wall in the beginning, blocks and a comfy set up for Savasana or a seated meditation.
