60 minute Gentle Basics Class.
Exploring the long muscles that run the length of the spine; how we engage them and how important they are to the comfort of our upright posture. 50/50 Breath, permaculture reading, warm-ups, cat/cow, dog, anjaneyasana, plank variations, dolphin, pose of the child. Chair-workshop the erector spinae muscles getting a feel for them and what motions effect them. Set up chair to support a plank series. Lunge steps to stretch calves, dog with chair, forward bend, seated chair backbend. Calves up on chair as option for Savasana.
