25 minute Somatic Reset class Step 2. Now that you feel efficiency and ease with Arch & Flatten and Arch & Curl, this short class teaches you a stronger variation of the Back Lifts. We complete this series with a diagonal version of arch & curl.
Important: Your neck and shoulders should feel successful and safe with the 1st version of the back lifts in the previous video before attempting this class.
Info- Inspired by Thomas Hanna Somatic work, this class covers the next steps in freeing up compensatory tight patterns in the front and back sides of the body. Before rotational or side bending actions can be reset, it is important to find ease and natural movement in the front/back body actions. Notice what 'under' effort-ing can do to release and re-educate the tissues. Please take your time with these. Keep working with each one until they make sense in your body and you've decreased any stuck tension in the belly and back muscles. Only then, progress to the next step. This may take days/weeks, so take your time and don't overdue.
